Baggage limits changes to/from the U.S. and Canada.

From the October 28th(inclusive) the free baggage allowance on flights to/from USA and Canada will suffer the following changes:

What are additional services and when can I get them?

Aditional services can be acquired after the purchase of your trip to make it more commodious.

I want to cancel the pre-seat do I get a refund?

If you want the to cancel it, Cancelation/Refund is allowed unless you have acquired a discount fare, which will not be entitled to reimbursement.

To receive a refund, you must send an e-mail with a copy of the boarding pass and a copy of the receipt with the purchase place until 30 days after the trip:

The pre-seat is available on all routes?

Yes, on all scheduled flights operated by SATA International, except:

- Porto (when used has a transfer to the previous European cities); 

- SATA Air Açores flights in which we have a "free-seating" policy;

Nor is it possible to mark places on flights operated by other airlines;

There are restrictions for the pre-seat?

Yes, there are restriction in the emergency row and for passengers who may need special assistance, such as:

- People under the age of 16 years;

- Pregnant Women; 

- Elderly; 

- Special Group Rates;

- Passengers with reduced mobility who require special assistance;

- Passengers carrying articles in the cabin (animals, bulky items, etc.).

In these cases, if you cannot make the pre-seat online, please contact Sata offices or the Contact Centre.

If in the same ticketi have a flight that allow pre-seat and another how doesn’t, how should I proceed?

You can make online the pre-seat in the route that allows the pre-seat and ignore the one who does not.

I choose the wrong seats how to undo the pre-seat?

If you have not completed the pre-seat you should cancel them online. If not the seats stay pre reserved for a few minutes (30-60 minutes). If after this time you experience difficulties please contact our Contact Center or any Sata office, to assist you.
